About Peter Jones


Peter has over 25 years experience working in the community sector in not-for-profit, local and state government organisations.

He has worked in youth work and homeless accommodation, out-of-home care and disability services as well as grass roots community development.

In recent times Peter has been actively involved in consultation on government reform, service development and capacity building in the out-of-home care sector in NSW – especially with Aboriginal organisations.

Extensive experience in service management and policy development together with sound skills in training and facilitation make him a valuable resource for community organisations.

Peter is passionate about working with community organisations to assist them develop their potential to provide more effective services – especially for vulnerable children, young people and families.

His qualifications are in Community Management, Youth Work, Training and Arts.
